Recording King OB-3 “Twanger” in like-brand-new condition. This banjo is extremely clean, well cared for, and upgraded with a brand new Snuffy Smith bridge and a brand new ABC Remo head. It has been freshly set up with proper head tension, neutral coordinator rods, correct bridge placement, and comfortable action. Plays easy and sounds powerful.
Condition is like new: no scratches, no fret wear, no tarnish, no issues. Hardware is bright, neck is straight, resonator is clean. This is as close to new as you will find without paying new price.
The original hard shell case is also like brand new. Clean interior, tight latches, no odors, no wear.
Tone is classic OB-3: strong 4th string, crisp highs, great volume, and the Snuffy Smith bridge adds clarity and punch. The new Amber head gives it warmth and balance.
