Yamaha BB2000 Broad Bass -Neck Thru -Natural -1981 Made in Japan w/ ProTec Bag

Here we have an absolutely beautiful vintage Yamaha BB2000 Broad Bass 4- string.  Made in Japan in 1981. Serial number 028587.  Natural gloss finish.  The BB2000 is a 34" scale neck-thru design with an Alder body, 5- piece Maple/Mahogany neck, and a beautiful dark 21- fret Ebony fingerboard with inlays.  1.68" nut width. Passive electronics with a P/J pickup setup.  Master volume and tone controls with a 3- way toggle electro switch.  Chrome hardware all around with Schaller tuning machines and an engraved bridge. This bass weighs 10lbs 1oz.  It comes with a padded ProTec tweed gig bag.  
This bass is setup with 45-105's and is playing silky smooth.  The neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod is working as it should with good travel in either direction.  The frets are in very good condition with some light play wear. There are minor divots up to about the 7th fret.  All the common areas.  This bass plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.  Truly plays great!
Cosmetically, this bass is in very good condition.  There are marks, scuffs, small indents, and swirls in the gloss finish.  There are a few small indents near the control knobs.  The lower bout bass edge has some indents.  The back of the bass has scuffing in the center (belt buckle) but nothing through the finish. There are small pencil eraser size indents on the back. Lastly a few indents and scuffs near the output jack.  Overall, it is in great shape and has been well cared for.
