The Bakersfield is wound with Heavy Poly Nylon wire for more density and a harder mid push. The result is a more aggressive presence character — honky in the best sense, with a forward midrange that makes chord stabs jump and single notes cut.

No copper baseplate on this one: the steel plate keeps the bridge leaner and more focused, pushing the mid-presence further forward without added low-end warmth. It's a specific voice for a specific purpose.
