Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Worn Cherry. Made in the USA in 2016 this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany Body with Carved Maple Top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. A pair of Gibson BurstBucker Pro pickups are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls.

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand without feeling too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines. 

Amplified, the pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups deliver thick & full bodied tones, well suited to bluesy rock riffing. There's plenty of dirty snarling sounds on offer, with powerful lead tones in the neck position & searing, saturated distortions from the bridge. The traditional control layout is as practical & versatile as ever, allowing you to tweak & tune your sounds whilst playing. A typically well-made instrument from Gibson which feels full-fat despite its distinctly 'Diet' price tag.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentation & scratching of the front face is visible under direct light, most notably to the centre & surrounding the 1st E tuner. The top rear bass side corner shows mild indentation which slightly flattens the corner. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition.Light indentation to the rear of the neck is apparent throughout, however is difficult to discern from the open-pore texture of the finish. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss consistent with playwear.

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching & indentation is present across all aspects of the body, most notably to the treble side rear edge of the lower bout near the output jack where the wood is lightly exposed. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.

Hardware: Excellent condition with light to mild scratching of the pickup covers & pickguard consistent with playwear. 

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
