Rare Hamer 5 string Cruise Bass in excellent condition, made in USA 1997. Bartolini active pickups with master volume, blend, and stacked bass and treble tone controls. I believe the tone circuit is cut and boost, and each knob has a center detent. The neck is 3 piece maple with an ultra comfortable asymmetrical carve and beautiful rosewood fingerboard (you don't see this quality rosewood on guitars these days). This model has the desirable 2-Tek bridge which adds exceptional sustain. Plays and sounds great with recent pro setup, Stringjoy round wound strings and bone nut added. A boutique quality bass that rivals instruments costing thousands more! Only selling because I primarily play 4 string at this point. Weight is 10.0 lb. on my bathroom scale, which is the lightest I've ever seen for a bass with 2-Tek bridge. Comes in SKB soft case as seen. Shipping to lower 48 states USA only.
