The Session Studio Select series features Pearl’s premium EvenPly-Six shell formula—a hybrid blend of 4-ply Birch outer plies and 2-ply African Mahogany inner plies (5.4mm total thickness). This gives you the ultimate sonic combination: the crisp, bright top-end attack of birch paired with the deep, warm, dark low-end "growl" of mahogany.
