very rare English mixer. made in late 1980s, as far as I know.
amazing stuff with very warm sound, often called a thick sound of late 80s, and often used as a warmer up/ saturator. "Gold" series offer superior components over all the others.
as you can see - it has parametric low and mid eq, shelf high eq.
4 aux send buses.
also each channel and each group can be solo'd and muted.
wonderful proper vintage deck.
it's fully working, but has couple of defects:
- couple of channels miss the mute plastic cap buttons, but the buttons themselves work perfectly
- many channels need some warm-up when switched on, like tweak a gain knob backwards and forwards, to bring them back to live (natural for any vintage mixer)
- channel 15 doesn't seem to be working
- couple of knob caps and fader caps are missing
as far as I'm aware - all it requires is a good, thorough, and deep cleaning. everything inside looks really well. it's a 40 years old console. big, amazing, full size, amazing sound, very professional.
shipping costs are real, it's huge and heavy.
I've personally shipped more hundreds of items internationally, and have experience to pack it amazingly, to survive any postal trip.
obviously it's sold with no returns at all, due to the age, and also it has a couple of minor defects.
rare opportunity to get an early warm studiomaster console.
