Selling my Shadow Hills Mono GAMA single-channel 500 Series mic preamp.

The Mono GAMA is one of the most versatile 500 Series preamps I’ve used. It is built around a custom discrete op-amp and a Jensen input transformer, giving it excellent clarity, fast transient response, punchy low-mids, and a very solid front-end sound for vocals, guitars, bass, drums, synths, and DI sources.

The main feature is the Transformer Switching Matrix, which gives you three different output transformer voicings from one preamp. Discrete is the cleanest and most transparent setting, Nickel adds a subtle open top-end character, and Steel adds more weight and body - API tone . It is basically three flavors of preamp in one 500 Series slot, which makes it easy to match the tone to the source without patching in a different preamp.

Includes phantom power, phase reverse, 20 dB pad, and a front-panel instrument input.

Works properly and sounds excellent. Cosmetically it shows normal 500 Series rack wear from studio use, but nothing that affects function. See photos.
