Fractal Audio Axe-Fx III Mark I Bundle, FC-6 Controller, Rack Case

Selling my Fractal Audio Axe-Fx III Mark I, pre-2020 version, bundled with an FC-6 foot controller and hard rack case.

This is Fractal’s flagship rackmount amp modeler / effects processor, with deep amp modeling, cabinet simulation, effects, routing, scenes, presets, and live/studio flexibility. The Axe-Fx III platform is still actively supported and continues to evolve with firmware updates, new features, amp modeling improvements, and ongoing refinements. It is not a static old processor; it is still a living, evolving platform.

This unit has been a major part of my recording setup for the last 7 years. It was used across my recent recordings, including new Thursday songs and No Devotion material, as well as countless studio guitar tones, writing sessions, and production work.

Everything powers on and works properly. The Axe-Fx III is up to date and has been reset to factory settings, so it is clean, ready to set up, and not loaded with my old presets.

The unit shows normal cosmetic wear from use, including some scuffs/marks on the front panel and rack case, but nothing that affects function. See photos.

Reason for selling: I’ve moved into a Neural DSP-based workflow through an artist relationship, so I’m simplifying my rig and moving this along to someone who will use it.
