Solid 1-Ply Maple Shell snare drum for your kit!

Up for your consideration & buying pleasure is a Beautiful 1960s Slingerland ‘Artist’ Model Snare Drum In gorgeous Blue Sparkling Pearl.


Please Note: There maybe some shadows and reflections that are captured in these photos on the Blue Sparkle finish & Inside Shell are NOT in the actual finish.

This 1960s Artist Snare Drum is sporting the original Black & Gold Niles, Illinois Small Oval Brass Badge

In addition, this snare is in excellent condition and mostly all original except for new drum heads & with beautiful triple chrome plated chrome hardware.



This Vintage Blue Sparkling finish has a wonderful vibrant coloration with no minor fade.

 The BSP is the ‘old school’ wrap finish. 
Also, this Pearl Finish is a beautiful example of Slingerland’s attention to detail.
 It’s very hard to find this finish with no fading.
No scratches and overall super clean!


The Tension Rods are originals, along with washers.


Again, These Blue Sparkling Pearl finishes are hard to find in such great condition without any coloration issues!

This maple shell is nicely “In Round” and 
5.5”x14”.  The Artist Model has the ‘Solid‘

1-Ply Maple Shell construction, beautiful Maple Interior shell with solid maple reinforcing hoops. 

The bearing edges are all excellent & factory original. 
There is no re-ring separation and a very nice clear maple interior.

 Sparkling Blue Pearl Finish on the Exterior. This model is made in mid 1960s w/beautiful inside Maple wood grain incorporated in the shell.



Many Artist models were& made with the 3-Ply shell.

The Solid Maple Shells are rare to find, & sounds Fantastic.

This drum is sporting the 8-Lug, SoundKing Stick Savers, Chrome over Brass hoops.
 All of this hardware is Triple Chrome Plated as well.

The Lugs are the Beautifully Crafted Soundking Center Variety that are in excellent working condition.
 No cracks or fatigue.



The throw-off is the desirable Zoomatic that works and functions beautifully!



The Zoomatic Strainer does have a replacement knob. And it functions beautifull.
A very nice Slingerland Extended Butt Plate design that functions perfectly.

 Original Slingerland snare wires with soldered metal snare wires and string is equipped.


The single Slingerland factory muffler is beautiful & functions flawlessly.

 This Drum has that great Slingerland Vintage sound, wonderful dynamic response, great staccato stick articulation with wonderful warm tonality.
