The Gibson Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa ES-335 is a highly coveted, precise recreation of Joe’s personal, prized 1961 ES-335. Built by the masters at the Gibson Custom Shop, this guitar captures the exact soul, feel, and tonal DNA of a golden-era vintage instrument that has spent decades on the road.
By combining the warm, airy resonance of a hollowbody with the sustaining power and high-gain feedback control of a solidbody, this signature model delivers the definitive "freight train" blues-rock growl that Bonamassa is famous for. Finished in a gorgeous VOS (Vintage Original Spec) nitrocellulose lacquer with lightly aged nickel hardware, it looks, plays, and feels like a well-traveled 1960s classic straight out of the case.
