Fresh off the bench is this 2022 Squire by Fender Toronado Paranormal. Weighing in at a comfortable 8 lbs, 4 oz. Setup performed on this Toronado includes:
- Nut slot depth adjustments
- Saddle Intonation
- Saddle height and radius
- Fret end dressing (including removal of fret sprout and sharp edges)
- Fret leveling where applicable (and subsequent fret re-crown) and polish
- Back of neck has been sanded and deglossed
I have setup the guitar with an action of ~1.6 mm at the 12th fret for the low E and ~1.4 mm at the high e (special wave!). The truss rod has been adjusted to provide .25mm of neck relief measured at the 6th fret. Nut slots have been refined and lubricated and set to ~.5 mm (+/- .1 mm) off the 1st fret for all six strings. Please note that these values are for the current truss rod setting and almost certainly WILL change once the guitar has been shipped to a new climate. The changes will be small and can be easily re-adjusted once the guitars arrives and has acclimated to your environment. Even in that case, these values allow for quite a bit of wiggle room and will play great even if you don't make any changes. They key thing is that there has been a lot of expert hands-on time given to this guitar and that's the difference between an OK guitar and an Excellent one (sometimes that's the only difference between a low price guitar and an expensive one as well!).
The body has minor normal-use scratches as (maybe?) seen in the photos. It also has a minor finish crack at the bottom right of the heel plate. This crack has been stabilized and will not incur any playability issues, nor is it even all that visible and is only mentioned here for the sake of complete transparency. The pick guard has been changed out to a mint-green one which looks crazy good with these three-tone sunburst finishes. The original tortoise pick guard will be included and can be seen ion the photos.
All electronics are factory and working correctly. Electronics cavities have been cleanly insulated with copper foil tape and grounded.
Guitar does NOT include a gig bag or case. Will be shipped safely wrapped and de-tuned.
