Amazing 90’s Fender Twin. This is the “Evil Twin” amp. I love it, and while it can be played at somewhat low volumes, it’s just too much amp for my needs. This thing is a very loud, heavy beast, that delivers gorgeous Fender cleans but can get nasty too. A flick of a switch puts it in low power mode where an onboard attenuator drops the output from 100 watts down to 25 watts. I’m only playing it as quiet as possible, but it should be with someone who wants those loud, heavy tones. This would be a sick Shoegaze amp, but great for anything. Especially live use and recording as well. Comes with tilt back legs installed. Local pick up only.
Some more info from the internet:
The 1994 Twin Amp is essentially a hot rodded modern version of a 1965 Twin Reverb. The difference being that the 94 Twin Amp has two channels; one for clean tones and one for crunch tones. It also has a switch that can switch between 25 watt and 100 watt. The 94 Twin Amp is nicknamed “Evil Twin“. The 94 Twin Amp is insanely LOUD but can also be played at moderate volumes. Sometimes I like to think of this as Fenders answer to Mesa Boogie. The clean channel is amazing. It sounds very similar to a 65 Twin Reverb yet slightly less “thin and shimmery“ than a Twin Reverb. Obviously the crunch channel RIPS and can carry distortion that is unimaginable for a Twin Reverb.
