Perhaps the cleanest of these you will ever see, this '58 LP Special is as great as they ever made them. With the iconic LP silhouette, '58 neck carve and roaring P-90s, this Special is all there. It even has the original sales receipt, where it was purchased for in September 1958 for $179.50, if only it were so still! So much more than a student model, the LP Special is up there with the greatest models ever made, and this one shows why.
This example is in remarkably 100% original condition and a perfect example perfect for any collection. Pot codes are dated 38th week of '57 and features a large C neck measuring .895"/1st and .946"/9th. Serial #8_3440, comes with the original chipboard case. Weighs 8.4lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
