This is a prototype electric cittern (aka 10 string mandocello).
It is made from a used Stratocaster copy and has slight finish flaws (which are not very noticeable, with the exception of a small paint chip; see pictures).
The instrument is a prototype made from a used husk, therefore, it is priced accordingly.
The video link is of a similarly converted instrument and is representative of the sound of this instrument (it is, however, not the instrument being advertised).
PLEASE NOTE! This Instrument is a conversion made from a GUITAR.
The neck will have a guitar type width, as I do NOT reduce the neck's width.
So if you're accustomed to playing banjo, tenor guitar, mandolin, or any other stringed instrument with a narrower neck, this instrument will have a larger feel to your hand.
