A beautiful 1962 Gibson Les Paul Junior SG Body vintage electric guitar in a faded cherry red. This one is quite nice and plays amazing. It has a larger neck than the tiny neck on later models.
1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine
The P90 pickup sounds super strong and has that classic Jr. sound we all love. The simplicity of these guitars is their strength. Pure Rock'n'Roll right here!
The guitar is all original with the exception of the bridge, which is a new nickel plated exact reproduction of the original 50's wraparound non compensated bridge with bushings placed at an angle for intonation.

This guitar's price reflects the fact that the headstock, unfortunately, was broken many years ago and expertly repaired. The scars are shown i the pictures. It seems that the black headstock veneer has been replaced, and the original Gibson and Les Paul logos were expertly transferred on to the new headstock veneer.
The headstock break has been expertly repaired, with an eye towards the cosmetics. The guitar is 100% structurally sound and currently plays great with no issues.
Other than the headstock crack, the guitar is in very good condition with a number of very minor dings as expected on a 64 year old guitar.
The Junior is known for superior resonance and sustain because of its simple design and lack of magnetic pull from a neck pickup to slow the vibration of the string.
This 1962 Gibson Les Paul Junior is a killer player's guitar. The original frets have been dressed and it plays wonderfully. We're confident you'll love the way this one plays and sounds.
