Otwin Sonor Jazz Guitar
Otwin Sonor jazz guitar made in East Germany, most likely in the late 1950s.
A fairly rare model, especially in this condition. Its design is truly distinctive, featuring the characteristic "cat's eye" f-holes commonly found on German archtop guitars of the period.
The guitar has recently been professionally serviced by a luthier:
- Straight neck
- Low action
- Excellent playability
- Ready to play
The solid spruce top is free from cracks or damage, and the guitar has a rich, resonant acoustic tone.
All tuning machines are original and function properly.
It is fitted with a vintage floating "Ideal" pickup featuring a thumbwheel volume control.
Specifications:
- 21 frets, with 14 frets clear of the body
- Floating pickup
- Original hardware
- Made in East Germany
A truly unique and characterful instrument with a warm, vintage sound.
Ideal for jazz, swing, blues, or simply for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage European guitars.
A soft gig bag or hard case can be provided at an additional cost.
