The Conn Shooting Star is a line of saxophones that was produced by the C.G. Conn company. These saxophones were typically designed as student or beginner models, and they were manufactured during the mid-20th century. Could also be utilized by advanced players that need a horn they can beat up. 

The Shooting Star series is known for its affordability and durability, making it a popular choice for students and beginners who are just starting to learn the saxophone.

The horn plays perfectly with a light touch and has a nice warm tone. Serviced and tested by our top band tech in the Chicagoland area! Even the pros bring their instruments to him! All of the keys move with ease and pads shut off nicely with no leaks. 

This sax has been overhauled and cleaned/sanitized. Pads and corks have been replaced. Adjusted to a light touch and play tested for leaks. Comes with mouthpiece, mouthpiece cap, ligature, neck strap and cork grease. The case is in decent shape as well. Latches and handle work good. Cosmetic imperfections on the outside and in, nothing major or extreme. 

Here at Midlothian Music we soak, clean, adjust and service all of our used band instruments so that they play correctly and are sparkling clean, just for you. All pads and corks inspected and replaced if necessary. This saxophone is no exception. You will not be disappointed! It has been fully serviced and cleaned and functions good as new and sanitized. 

The mouthpiece has also been soaked and sanitized, so it is safe to put in your mouth and play safely. It was placed into a zip lock baggie after cleaning and being sanitized. This instrument is ready to play! After being serviced, all instruments are leak tested and adjusted to a light touch. 

To clean, sanitize and adjust costs are over $180.00 and this horn is already done!
