This guitar comes from what many players consider a particularly special era of the Fender Custom Shop. The mid-1990s saw the shop producing some exceptional instruments, with beautifully figured necks, comfortable hand-shaped profiles, and a level of craftsmanship that has made many of these guitars increasingly desirable among players and collectors alike.
Chunky medium oval-C neck. Great playability with only a bare hint of wear on the frets. Birdseye maple neck—I love this era of Custom Shop necks!
Beautiful Fiesta Red color. Neck date is December 30th, 1994. That’s the only date I can find. Could very well have been shipped out in 1995.
The original pickguard and original pickups are installed. At one point, a different guard and pickup set were fitted to the guitar, but the original components have since been reinstalled. Shielding tape has been added under the guard. No COA or other paperwork. See gut shots for details of components.
