The Guitar Sanctuary is thrilled to unveil this exceptional, one-of-a-kind James Tyler Studio Elite HD, collaboratively spec'd by our team members Dallas and Trey during their factory pilgrimage to San Fernando earlier this year. Affectionately named "Rowdy Shmear" in a proud nod to our beloved Dallas Cowboys, this custom finish features an incredible blend of blues, silvers, and grays, paired beautifully with a matching Dark Blue headstock and a standard metallic silver JT logo with the iconic "BIABA" on the back.

This premium build features a solid Mamywo body—Tyler’s legendary, proprietary tonewood celebrated for its remarkably lightweight feel, incredible acoustic resonance, and a wide-open frequency response that makes every note leap out of the guitar. The neck features an ultra-fast, comfortable extra-thin shape carved from Quartersawn Maple, paired with a gorgeous dark Indian Ebony fingerboard, reverse headstock, 1 5/8" nut, wide/tall frets, and precision Hipshot locking tuners.

Advanced Tonal Engineering & Switching Matrix

The electronic architecture on this build is a tone-chaser's dream. It utilizes a sleek, clean rear-routed configuration loaded with an HCS-JTS5500 single-coil in the neck position and a fierce Tyler Shark humbucker in the bridge. To give you absolute studio quietness, Tyler's advanced Hum Canceling System (HCS) has been integrated into the single-coil circuit. Control layouts include master volume, master tone, and the iconic midboost preamp with an independent bypass button. To push versatility over the edge, Dallas and Trey added independent Series/Parallel mini-toggle buttons for each pickup, unlocking a vast array of pristine hum-free single-coil spank and massive humbucking drive configurations.
