The D-35 was introduced in 1965 featuring a 3-piece Indian rosewood back, rosewood sides, and a Sitka spruce top. The rear shifted bracing and bound fingerboard make this a favorite among bluegrass vocalists. Even though this guitar was built after the Brazilian Rosewood embargo, the sides and center piece used the famed wood (which was rare, but not unheard of). This has had a recent neck reset and setup so the action is great and there is plenty of saddle. A great boomy yet balanced guitar for a great price considering the components. Comes w/HSC
