Gibson Custom Hummingbird Red Spruce Honey Burst 2025

Famous for its clear transparency, powerful projection, and distinctive tone, the Gibson Hummingbird is known as a beloved model among acoustic guitars. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first Square-Shoulder Dreadnought model, the Hummingbird has since grown into one of the most beloved instruments in Gibson's acoustic range.

Built with an Adirondack spruce top, praised for its exceptional tonal qualities, this guitar delivers a balanced sound characterized by clear articulation across the strings and a solid bass foundation. The Adirondack spruce enhances the instrument's resonance, resulting in a sound that is direct, expansive, and voluminous, making it remarkable both visually and audibly.

The sound of the Gibson Hummingbird is rich and complex, with sparkling highs, warm midtones, and deep, resonant lows. From delicate fingerpicking to powerful chord progressions, the Hummingbird offers a dynamic range and expressive versatility that is sure to captivate any audience. The distinctive engraved pickguard beautifully adorns the guitar's top, while the body, like the neck, is framed with cream-colored binding. The Grover Rotomatic tuners have more than proven their worth and keep this Hummingbird perfectly in tune.

This Hummingbird was built in 2025 and is still in excellent condition, with only light signs of wear on the side of the body and the back of the neck. The guitar comes with a Gibson Custom certificate in a hardshell case.
