2004 Taylor 414CE-L30 — 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric

This is a rare 2004 Taylor 414CE-L30, built for Taylor's 30th Anniversary and produced only as a limited edition. The L30 is a dressed-up version of the standard 414CE Grand Auditorium w/ solid Sitka spruce top, solid ovangkol back & sides with satin finish, and ebony fretboard; adding a koa rosette around the soundhole and myrtlewood inlays in the ebony fretboard and the headstock.

I've owned this guitar for about 15 years, this is a player's guitar with honest wear.
The finish shows scratches and scuffs from real use, but there are NO cracks & no moisture damage or signs of past moisture damage. It's structurally clean and solid. The frets show normal play wear with no major buzzing or issues, and it plays great across the neck.
This has been stored continuously in air-conditioned spaces and humidity has been monitored and maintained 45~55%RH in the case.

Expression System (ES1.1): This guitar has Taylor's original Expression System (ES1.1), which sounds great and is all original and fully functional. One nice perk of the ES1 is that it has a balanced output, so with a TRS-to-XLR cable (included), you can run straight into a PA or board without needing a DI box. The pots had become a little scratchy over time, so they were recently cleaned with DeoxIT Fader F5 and they're now quiet and smooth with no crackle.
