The BTB1906E is a six string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2017. It was made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The BTB1906E features neck through body construction with a figure maple top and back on ash wings attached to a graphite reinforced 9-piece wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Aguilar DCB passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, Mono-rail bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
