【About this guitar】
This is the [Limited Edition Elitist 1965 Casino Vintage].
The number of guitars made is less than 1,000!
The special edition of Elitist Casino, far beyond 'normal' Elitist Casino.
Polished to the extreme, you can enjoy the wet sheen characteristic of lacquer.
Almost the same as real vintage USA casino (see the photo 2, the right one is 1967 made in USA).
USA casino is not included!
The tuning machine have been upgraded from Grover to Gotoh small button pegs.
The nut and bridge saddles are made of delrin.
This guitar was made at the same factory as 'epiphone casino 1965 limited 2000 anniversary', it was known as made in USA. Both bodies were made in Terada Gakki, a music instrument factory in Japan.
Moreover, this limited elitist has 3-ply body!
Even 1965 limited 2000 anniversary casino doesn't have 3-ply body (5-ply).
3- ply body is the same as the real vintage 1965 casino.
It is very important for the sound.
Gibson 330 has 3-ply body, and Epiphone casino USA collection (2021〜) also has 3-ply.
3-ply wood body is rich in overtones compared to 5-ply.
Vintage style headstock with a 17 degree head angle.
And the production of this guitar has been discontinued.
You can hardly find this 'rare limited' casino even in Japan.
