From Coriolis:

Made from my own trace of a vintage 1970s Sekova “Frizzy” Fuzz.

The “F"F is a very interesting circuit. It uses the same NPN 2SC1335 transistors used in the Sekova Big Muff, but it operates on negative voltage. We’ve seen plenty of PNP transistors operate on negative voltage as the norm, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an NPN circuit like this.

The sound? Pretty damn cool. It cuts some lows, but has great sizzle and pairs awesomely with other fuzzes.

Let’s talk about the jacks. I can’t bring myself to side mount jacks on anything. These being A size builds, there were definitely some challenges to get the jacks top mounted. I was able to get the jacks in by grinding some material out of each enclosure, but they were still too close together to tighten the nuts. So I got these really cool aluminum spacers to use on one side and they work perfect. Check the pictures. As long as you don’t use flat jacks or anything with a large barrel, you should be good.
