This is the highest model you can get outside of Custom Shop. Vintage spec Custom Shop designed by Mark Kendrick with top quality materials. The Heritage line is most similar to the American Vintage II series which cost $2500+. Upgraded with expensive high quality Great Wave Off Kanagawa pickguard and matching back plate. Also chrome tip Wilkinson tremolo bar, metal abolone tip control knobs, and metal chrome switch tip. Original parts included. Strap not included. Made in Japan Heritage is a series that explores the ultimate performance experience that vintage instruments offer players. Featuring the help of Mark Kendrick, a master builder renowned at Fender Custom Shop and a deep knowledge of vintage instruments, this shop is packed with specifications that will captivate vintage fans. All Heritage series models are designed based on USA product profiling data, with body and neck shapes adapted to suit different eras. It inherits Fender's legitimate lineage down to the smallest detail, including cross-wire pickups, pickup settings and tones, and the reproducibility of body color. The Made in Japan Heritage 70s Stratocaster® features an ash body with a gloss finish. These include a 7.25-inch Radius ʻ70s “C” shaped maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets, a six-saddle vintage-style Synchronized Tremolo bridge, and pickups specially selected for the Heritage series All specifications that make up this product are carefully crafted to achieve classic playability and a sweet, vintage tone.
