Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster Reissue — 3-Color Sunburst | Rosewood Board | Hardshell Case
One of the best Strats Fender ever made, and this one plays like it. This is an American Vintage Reissue '62 Strat from the late 2000s production run — nitro lacquer body, 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style synchronized tremolo, the whole deal. Built in the USA to exacting vintage specs, and it shows.
Specs:
- Alder body, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish — 3-Color Sunburst
- Maple neck, C-shape, gloss nitro finish
- Rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius, vintage fret size
- 25.5" scale, 21 frets, ivory dot inlays
- 3-ply mint green pickguard, aged white knobs
- American Vintage synchronized tremolo with chrome bridge cover
- Nickel/chrome hardware, 6-in-line American Vintage tuners
- Includes 5-way switch upgrade kit
Pickups: The original American Vintage pickups have been replaced with what appears to be a boutique aftermarket set — I don't know the brand with certainty and won't guess. What I can tell you is they sound exceptional: clear, glassy cleans with that right single-coil bite and none of the harshness you get from cheaper aftermarket sets. A knowledgeable buyer could likely identify them by sight.
Condition: Excellent. One small blemish near the headstock from a guitar stand holder — otherwise the guitar is clean, straight, and plays beautifully. No cracks, no repairs, no issues.
Includes: Deluxe hardshell case with brown exterior and gold interior — not the original Fender case, but a comparable quality hard case that fits and protects the guitar properly.
