One of the highlights of this Jaguar is the bound rosewood neck with elegant mother-of-pearl dot inlays, giving it a slightly more upscale and vintage-inspired look compared to standard models. The neck features a comfortable ’60s “C” profile that feels instantly familiar in the hand—substantial enough to feel solid while remaining fast and easy to navigate up and down the fretboard. The 9.5” radius provides a modern playing feel that accommodates both comfortable chording and smooth bending without fretting out. The neck is factory finished in a thin nitrocellulose lacquer. Nitro finishes tend to age gracefully over time, developing character while maintaining that lively acoustic response players love.

Tonally, this Jaguar is equipped with a set of Fender V-Mod Jaguar pickups, offering a balanced take on the traditional Jaguar sound. This particular Mod Shop build also features the same switching configuration as the Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar, which many players consider the most practical and versatile Jaguar wiring Fender has produced. It expands the tonal palette of the instrument while simplifying the layout, making it incredibly easy to access a variety of pickup combinations on the fly.

The bridge has been upgraded to a Mastery M1 bridge, a highly regarded upgrade among Jaguar and Jazzmaster players.
