Very clean and original UK-made Marshall JCM800 4104 50W 2x12 valve combo from the early JCM800 period with the desirable horizontal input layout.

This amplifier has lived a very quiet life and has seen very little actual playing time over the years, mainly because of the sheer volume. Even at low master settings it is incredibly loud and sounds exactly like a healthy vintage JCM800 should.

The amplifier was recently professionally inspected and serviced by ELB-Tech (Hummelo, NL). Work carried out includes:

• Full inspection
• Cleaning/service
• Bias adjustment of the power tubes
• General health check

The installed Svetlana Winged C power tubes have very low playing hours.

Nothing required replacement during the recent service; the amplifier appears to remain in highly original and healthy overall condition.

Condition is exceptionally clean for its age:

• original tolex in very nice condition
• original Celestion G12M-70 speakers
• original transformers
• original layout and electronics
• no extra holes
• no replacement speakers

The amplifier includes the original Marshall “Master Volume and Lead Amplifiers” handbook/manual.

The amp presents beautifully overall. The only noticeable cosmetic wear is:

• a small piece missing from one lower front corner protector
• light cracking on two other corner protectors

All cosmetic details are clearly shown in the photos.

The amp is fitted with matching original Celestion speakers with matching factory markings.

This is not a heavily used touring amplifier, but a very original and well-preserved early JCM800 combo for collectors, studio use or serious Marshall enthusiasts.

Due to the size, weight and value of the amplifier, local pickup is strongly preferred. Shipping may be possible at buyer’s expense and risk, but would require careful packing and full insurance.
