This 2013 Duesenberg Starplayer TV is in excellent condition. This guitar shows only light play wear throughout. There are no major bumps or bruises anywhere on this instrument - just a few light scratches in the body, some light tarnishing of the nickel hardware and one pinhead sized ding on the peghead corner. This is an extremely fine guitar built with high quality woods and precise construction. This guitar features a semi-hollowbody with a nicely figured laminated arched maple back with a transparent black/gray finish and nice tight grained spruce top with a sunburst finish. This guitar has a one piece maple neck with a medium “D” shape profile, a 1 11/16” nut width and a 12” radius rosewood fingerboard. This neck feels incredibly ergonomic in the hand and is extremely easy and fun to play. The jumbo fret wire is in excellent condition and shows only very light signs of play wear. This guitar has been set up and it plays like a dream up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The hardware on this Duesenberg is absolutely top notch. Every piece of metal on this instrument from the tuners to the switch tip is precisely machined to the highest standards and both its looks and functionality are incredible. The Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola is one of the finest and smoothest tremolos on the market in our opinion. This tremolo is extremely fun to use and stays in tune like an absolute champ! The Duesenberg grand vintage humbucker (bridge position) and Domino P-90 (neck position) sound fantastic and deliver some exceptionally articulate and clear tones with plenty of mid-range bite in the bridge position and a very nice warm rounded yet still very clear tone from the P-90 - A really dynamite sounding set of pickups that really shine both overdriven and clean. This Starplayer weighs 8lb 2oz and is housed in its original and very nice heavy duty Duesenberg hardshell case.
