This great guitar is a 1983 Alvarez Yairi DY56 in a sunburst finish. We just gave it a full setup and cleanup , adjusted the action, put on new strings, and we have it set up so it plays like a dream. 

This guitar is a thin dreadnought style body with a fiberglas back to it, somewhat like an Ovation, but different. As you can see from the actual photos which are in the ad, the guitar does have a couple obvious scratches on the top, but aside from that it is in very good condition, especially since it is a 42 year old guitar. It did not have a case when we got it in so we are including the nice gig bag you see with it in the photos . The built in electronics with volume and tone controls work fine. The neck is straight and the frets are in good shape, The action is set low, and it sounds great, both acoustically and when amplified. This is a very comfortable guitar to play.
