Welcome to Vintage Emporium! We're extremely pleased to bring you this Martin A Style Mandolin built in Nazareth Pennsylvania in 1931. This mandolin is a beauty. From Martin's golden era, this A Style Mandolin is in excellent shape considering its age. It features a lovely soft V shaped neck that is ultra comfortable to play. This mandolin has such a warm and open sound about it. Truly a beautiful instrument with incredible tone. This mandolin was professionally setup with D'addario 10-34 light gauge 80/20 Phosphor Bronze Strings. The action is great. The neck is nice and straight. The frets were all polished and show small divots on the A and E strings in the first position. This mandolin weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. making it super lightweight and comfortable to pick on.

This mandolin is in very good condition especially when you factor in its nearly 100 years old. Has some pickwear, scratches and some minor scuffs on the top. Back and sides are very clean with minimal scratches or dings. Back of the neck is super clean with a minor dent below the tuners on the left side. Comes with original case that shows minor wear. Overall, this is the quintessential A Style Martin Mandolin from the greatest decade in the company's history. With deep, rich, and warm tones this mandolin really sings.
