Looking for SVT-style grit in a solid state workhorse of an amp? Look no further. Owned by a single owner since 1978 and stored safely away for decades, this Ampeg V-6B beauty was reconditioned in 2026 with a new bridge rectifier, two new capacitors, and a new ground scheme. Result? Loud, clean sound with zero hum or other unwanted noise.

The 240-watt solid-state head pushes full power at 4 Ohms. That’s RMS watts; it can play continuously at that volume all night (and day) long. All pots and switches are fully functional, giving you fingertip access to a full range of tonal possibilities. The heavy-duty aluminum heat sink is intact and undamaged, and the original casters and rear tilt-back towel bar are attached and working, making it easy to get to gigs and practice. It even includes the plastic cover panels that protect the face and rear of the amp head when not in use.

This is a rare opportunity to get a classic vintage amp rugged enough to deliver heavy tones reliably, night after night. Act now to get this full stack as a plug-and-play package.
