Here is a 2010 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cut in Cherry finish! Includes the original hardshell case and paperwork. This might very well be the rarest Junior you'll see today! In 2010 Gibson produced a very small amount of these Juniors exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market. They came in Cherry as well as TV Yellow, and had Ebony fretboards, making them super unique! This one was built very early in the year, on 20th day of 2010.
It's a very lightweight example at just 7 lb! The neck has a medium-full C-shaped profile, which is super comfortable, and that glassy-smooth ebony fretboard definitely makes it easy to glide around on. This guitar has a gloss finish which seems fairly thin, so it doesn't feel sticky or tacky whatsoever. It's also a very resonant, lively guitar, and just a joy to play. The pickup is loud, clear and cutting, but also very dynamic and musical. It cleans up very well and retains great clarity as you roll back the Volume control. There is nothing better than putting your favorite overdrive between a great Junior like this one and an amp on the edge of breakup!
The tonal versatility is really impressive. This guitar is set up with comfortable action and plays great!
Here are a few highlights: 7 lb. Mahogany body and neck, ebony fretboard. 1.69" (1 11/16") nut width, medium frets.
Medium-Full C neck profile which measures .82 - .88 - .92" @ the 1st, 7th and 12th frets. All original besides the pickguard (the original black single-ply guard is included).
Original hardshell case and paperwork included. Condition: This guitar is in great condition overall, and everything functions as it should with no issues. No cracks or breaks.
