Vintage style Tremolo based on 'Blue Pearl Tejas Tremolo' circuit. This one is #3 of 15 made. These were only available directly from Bruce Bennett on the Harmony Central forum in 2005.
My experience with this pedal: It functions from a mellow, almost undistiguishable pulse, to a heavy/deep throb. The 'Hair' knob functions as 'gain' & adds grit (and a little bit of volume) as it's turned up... Giving this pedal some really dirty/swampy output if desired. It's just a straightforward functioning Tremolo with bite.
I also discovered, I like it better with a power supply. It just seems more cleaner & sharper to me than with a battery. My only complaint is when you do install the battery, it fits very tightly in one specific placement... Which makes it annoying to close the enclosure sometimes.
Besides that, it's a really cool pedal if that's the sound you are looking for.
