For sale is a Sansui G-5500 Pure Power DC Stereo Receiver, serial number 829010017, in the desirable U.S. 120V / 60Hz version.

This unit has been BVA-style serviced, cleaned, detailed, tested working, and includes a YouTube demo video showing operation.

The G-5500 is part of Sansui’s respected late-1970s Pure Power DC receiver lineup, known for its clean power delivery, bold styling, and classic Sansui sound. This example presents very well with an excellent brushed aluminum faceplate, attractive smoked-glass dial, illuminated dual meters, green power indicator, and red FM stereo indicator.

The controls, pots, and switches were cleaned and exercised, the internal boards were cleaned with electronic cleaner, the faceplate was detailed, and the knobs were removed, ultrasonically cleaned, and hand polished.
