Here's The Run Down:

This Vintage Japanese Made 1970s Hondo HM-5 Mandolin is definitely in great shape and an awesome player to boot! Its in the cosmetic condition as pictured, so please be sure to view them all (more available upon request). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). This Mandolin appears all original & repair free. The finish is original and is in great shape showing only minor flaws. Flaws may consist of minor dings, scratches, marks, scuffs and discoloring of the gold hardware, but still extremely respectable with nothing notable or picture worthy. The frets show average/minor wear as pictured and the truss rod operates as it should.

This 70s Japanese Made Hondo Mando plays and sounds great! Although I think its set up perfectly, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The action is low with a straight neck. It plays perfectly from one end of the fingerboard to the other. Freshly strung and ready to play out of the box! 

The Included Original Case is in very good condition for a old case. It does show its age and wear, but all latches and hinges operate as they should. Still a great and usable original case.
