1969 Gibson SG Custom. Only non-original parts that come with the guitar are the repro waffle tuners, bridge, new nut (pro fret job from Brown's Guitar Factory in MN, thank you) and the control knobs. The guitar has a custom harness that allows the middle pickup to be blended, but the original harness, nut and bridge are included in the case. I've also re-installed the original strap pins. I've owned this guitar over 20 years. I have been asked about the different color of the neck pickup. That is because on the old guitars with gold hardware the 'gold' can wear off. These are the original Pat number pickups with no story other than 56 years of service. The guitar does have a refinish 20 years ago (hence the price) done by John Brown of Brown's Guitar Factory. Previous owner stripped the guitar to wood. No breaks, single piece mahogany neck. Headstock face is unrestored. No breaks or cracks with the guitar. Original Gibson rectangle case and decades of finish checking. It's a spectacular instrument. (I did remove my name from the pickup cavity) Plus only 451 were shipped in '69.
