Fodera Artie Reynolds Signature Emperor 5 Elite 5-String Bass Maple Quilted w/Birdseye Maple Fingerboard, Hard Case

One of the most important criteria in designing Artie Reynolds’ Signature Emperor was that it would provide him with tremendous tonal flexibility. We achieved this by using an Elite (neck-through body) construction with an Alder body and Ash tone block. Its 35″ scale neck consists of three pieces of hard rock Maple and a highly figured Birdseye Maple fingerboard. Artie selected a piece of 5A Quilted Maple for his instrument’s solid top and we do the same for each model we produce.

This blend of tonewoods offers an incredibly neutral tonal palate that can then be altered using various playing techniques and/or the controls of our Fodera/Duncan Dual Coil pickups and Custom Series Preamp.
