1977 Martin D-28 w/ohsc This one owner D-28 is a gem...entirely original, neck freshly reset and the frets just dressed, it's ready for another half century of play.  The guitar was well cared for by the original owner and shows few signs of wear or use though it was played regularly.  There is just one area of  slight wear on the fret board but no significant scratches, dings or dents in the finish or wood anywhere. The heel of the neck has never even been drilled for a strap pin. There is a very minor (repaired) pick guard crack under the B string, barely there and is tight/level/stable.  No other cracks anywhere. The neck is very straight under tension and the top flat, no significant belly or bridge rotation.  Action is set at 7/64" at the low E at the 12th fret and 5/64" at the high E with plenty of saddle showing to allow for the action to be lowered if needed.  Big, booming voice, excellent flat picking guitar.  Intonation is good all over the neck.  There's a lot of talk in the guitar world about all the "issues" that 70s Martins are supposedly dogged by...well...this guitar didn't get the memo.  Comes with original blue hard case, which is in as good condition as the guitar...latches and handle all present, the lid closes well, etc.  Also included are several items of original paperwork including the letter from Martin acknowledging the warranty registration of the guitar for the original owner back in '77, the original 'care and feeding' pamphlet that came with the guitar, a 70s era 1833 Shop merch/price list and a 70s era Martin strings/accessories price list.
