Fender Custom Shop 1969 Rosewood Telecaster NOS, Natural, Indian Rosewood, COA
in EXCELLENT condition.

The Shop’s Take
This is a Fender Custom Shop 1969 Rosewood Telecaster NOS with serious late-’60s character, chambered Indian rosewood construction, hand-wound ’67 Tele pickups, and that unmistakable Rosewood Tele look.

It still has the snap, clarity, and attack you want from a great Telecaster, but with a warmer, woodier voice and a more refined feel. The chambered rosewood body gives it depth and focus without the full weight of a solid rosewood build, making this a very comfortable and musical Custom Shop piece.

Originally purchased for a private guitar collection, this one has never been gigged and has only left its case to be examined by potential customers and photographed for this listing. It includes the Fender Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity and floor traveler.

A great fit for a player, collector, or George Harrison-inspired Tele fan looking for the Rosewood Tele character in a clean, modern Fender Custom Shop build.

Main Description
Here is a beautiful Fender Custom Shop 1969 Rosewood Telecaster NOS in Natural, built in 2020 and inspired by one of the most iconic Telecaster designs of the late 1960s.

This is not your everyday Tele. The guitar features a chambered Indian rosewood body with a maple center stripe, a one-piece rosewood neck with a maple skunk stripe, and classic late-’60s Tele appointments throughout. It has that unmistakable Rosewood Tele look: warm, elegant, and instantly recognizable, but with the comfort and reliability of a Fender Custom Shop build.

The chambered body helps keep the guitar more comfortable than a fully solid rosewood Telecaster while still giving it the rich, focused, woody response these models are known for. Tonally, it sits in a beautiful place between classic Tele snap and the warmer, deeper character of rosewood. It has a strong fundamental note, plenty of sustain, and a slightly smoother voice than a traditional ash or alder Tele, while still keeping the clarity and attack that make a Telecaster so useful.

The electronics are a classic Tele setup, with hand-wound ’67 Tele NOS pickups, 3-way switching, master volume, and master tone. The bridge pickup has bite and twang, the neck pickup is warm and round, and the middle position gives you that familiar Tele clarity with a little extra depth from the rosewood construction.

The neck has a comfortable 1960-style oval “C” profile, a 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, 1.650” nut width, and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. It feels smooth, familiar, and easy to play, with a nice balance of vintage inspiration and modern playability.

Condition
This guitar is in excellent condition overall and presents very cleanly. It was originally purchased for a private guitar collection and was intentionally kept as a collection piece rather than a regular player. It has never been gigged and has only left its case to be examined by potential customers and photographed for this listing.

We do not see any notable marks, case wear, fret wear, missing case candy, or finish swirling. The guitar plays well, feels great, and includes the Fender Custom Shop COA and floor traveler.

As always, please review the photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual guitar being offered.
