Fender Custom Shop 1958 Compound Radius Stratocaster LTD NAMM 2025 Dirty Shell Pink/Time Capsule

This Custom Shop ’58 Stratocaster is as striking as it is inspiring. Finished in Dirty Shell Pink with a flash coat gloss lacquer, it’s a guitar that already feels alive, and one that will continue to wear in beautifully the more you play it.

The '57-style soft "V" neck profile is substantial without being cumbersome: just enough grip to feel vintage-authentic, but refined for modern hands. Paired with a compound 9.5"–12" radius - 12" is somewhat rare for a Custom Shop build - you get a fingerboard that’s equally at home under chord-heavy rhythm work as it is under expressive lead playing (especially past the 12th fret where the 12" radius makes itself known). It plays fast and bends effortlessly, with no compromise to the classic Fender feel.

Tonally, this Strat walks the line between the open sparkle of a great Telecaster and the slightly compressed sweetness of a '60s Strat. The hand-wound '58 Strat pickups are a medium output and deliver just the right amount of punch, with a glassy top end and excellent clarity across all positions. Think '50s Strat with a smidge more weight behind each note.

Add to that a perfect, balanced weight and an undeniably cool color, and you’ve got a guitar that’s as rewarding to play as it is to look at.
