Check out this 2009 Taylor Custom GA Electric-Acoustic, built through Taylor’s Custom Shop in El Cajon, California. It has a Florentine cutaway, short 24-7/8″ scale, and 1-3/4″ nut width. The Sitka Spruce top is braced with Taylor’s CV pattern with Relief Rout, paired with Mahogany back and sides in a two-piece configuration, a combination that delivers balanced, articulate tone with warmth and excellent clarity. The Slim Carve mahogany neck features a satin finish, grained ivoroid binding, and 4mm abalone dot inlays. The headstock carries an ebony overlay, Mother of Pearl Taylor logo, and a broadleaf abalone and MOP rose inlay, finished off with gold Taylor tuners and a Tusq nut and saddle. Grained ivoroid binding runs throughout the body, fretboard, and headstock, with abalone Paua top trim, a single-ring abalone rosette with bound soundhole, and ebony bridge pins with abalone dots. The instrument has a hairline crack on the top that was professionally repaired, sealed, and is now barely noticeable. It poses absolutely no structural concern and the guitar remains completely solid. This one ships in the original brown Taylor tolex hard shell case.
