This guitar is practically brand new. I’ve played it around the house and maybe a dozen gigs, but I have babied it, and there are no scratches or nicks. 530’s are completely hollow - no block down the middle- and as a result, the sound is rounder and the guitar is very light. If you know anything about this style of guitar, you have probably heard that they are prone to feedback. However, I have cured this problem with a set of Doug’s Plugs, f-hole covers that effectively eliminate feedback. This style of guitar has been played by Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, the Beatles, Grant Green, and Emily Remler to name several. I am selling this guitar because I have realized that I prefer the feel of a full sized archtop.
