R2R Electric PKIII Fuzz 2024

I purchased this direct from Chris (from R2R) in 2024. It’s based on a 1970 Park Fuzz Sound. This pedal is mint with likely under 3 hours total of playing time and works with 0 issues. It sounds insane!

Like all things R2R, this is a special fuzz sourced with as many vintage period correct parts as possible!

Additionally, Chris confirmed that the specific components for this circuit are rare/next to impossible to find - therefore he’s likely not building more of these models, moving forward.

This PKIII Fuzz is based on a 1970 Park Fuzz Sound. While it is not a part for part replica, it is an exact clone of the tone. Each one is matched to the original unit for all tonal characteristics, with an added bump in overall output.

The 3 knob version of this circuit is also known as the MKIII Tone Bender. With the added Treble / Bass control, there is an added tone shaping option that lets you dial in even more fuzzy goodness!

Each PKIII Fuzz is hand built with carefully selected NOS and vintage components. The transistors are measured, sorted and auditioned by ear for each matching set. Then each resistor, capacitor and potentiometer are all matched to achieve the best possible tone.
