Swisher Rumble Handcrafted 4 String Bass 2026 - Honey Dijon

This is a right handed solid body electric bass guitar made from alder, finished in a translucent butterscotch. The body is 1.75 inches thick and was hand shaped on a sander with a ¼ round edge all the way around. The body weighs in at 3.72 lbs. This bass has all black hardware including a Hipshot A Style bridge and Hipshot Ultralite Y-key tuners. The pickup configuration is P-bass style pickup in the neck/mid position and a J-bass style in the bridge position. I wound these pickups myself and they measure out as follows; the neck pickup has .187” ALNICO 5 magnets and reads at 10.9k and the bridge pickup has .187”” ALINCO 5 magnets and reads at 9.5k. The electronics are wired with a volume pot for each pickup and a tone pot, allowing for a blend of the two pickups together. The neck is 22 frets and bolted on with recessed black ferrules for a sleek look. The neck is all maple with a 9.5” radius and custom rosewood slot position markers. The truss rod is a dual action spoke type and located at the heel end. My necks are all hand carved and the profile is generally considered a “C” shape, however the nut width on this neck is 1.50” and the feel at the nut end is a little deeper/rounder. This one measures .800” (20.32 mm) at the 1st fret and .860” (21.84 mm) at the 12th fret, it’s quite comfortable with a very low profile. The frets are Wide/High Nickel-Silver .100" wide by .050" high. The nut was hand shaped from a buffalo horn.

My guitars are set up to play with great action. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished. The string height at the 1st fret is .015” and at the 12th fret it’s .090”. You’ll notice how smooth they are right away.
