- Pattern Thin Neck: Unlike other McCarty 594 models, the Thinline uses a Pattern Thin mahogany neck profile. It features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with iconic bird inlays and a slightly shorter 24.594” scale length for a slinkier feel.
- Finish: The guitar is finished in a high-gloss Vintage Cherry nitrocellulose lacquer, providing a timeless, "old-school" aesthetic.
Electronics & Hardware
- Pickups: Recent models (2024+) are equipped with USA-made 58/15 LT humbuckers, the same pickups found in the premium PRS Core line. These "low turn" pickups deliver warm, clear vintage tones with exceptional clarity.
- Versatile Controls: The layout includes two volume and two push/pull tone controls, allowing for independent coil-tapping to achieve nuanced single-coil sounds.
- Hardware: It features a sustain-enhancing PRS two-piece bridge made of zinc and brass, paired with vintage-style non-locking tuners. Newer versions include lightweight "Wing" buttons on the tuners to improve resonance and sustain.
