The D'Angelico Premier EXL1 archtop is known for its blues and jazz tones. Reviewers frequently praise its unplugged acoustic sound, and the floating neck humbucker when plugged in. It features a 17-inch full hollow-body made from a laminated spruce top and maple back and sides, a hard maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, and vintage-style hardware. The body, headstock, and f-holes are accented with ivory color binding. A Kent Armstrong-designed pickup and a floating rosewood bridge add to the jazz/blues ambience. This would be liseted as MINT if not for a surface crack on the back side of the headstock top. It is minor. See photo. Comes with a dedicated D'Angelico heavy duty gig bag.
