The pickup is a Pat # example from the early '60s, featuring the same construction and wind as a late model PAF.

Weighing 5lbs 14oz, tonewoods include a fully hollow maple body, Honduran mahogany neck and a dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The natural acoustic properties of the instrument are ample, and the Pat # pickup retains its original wind, metering at 7.19k ohms. This "low wind" pickup is exceedingly dynamic and responsive to player inputs, with spongy lows, a rich, woody midrange cut and sparkling trebles. Excellent color is retained in the 100% original Sunburst nitro lacquer finish, with very tight vertical lacquer checking on top and broader checking on the back. The instrument presents extremely well with only a few minor nicks and scuffs. The neck profile is similarly clean, with no palm wear and just a few shallow marks.

The original brown Lifton-branded hardshell case is included, with the original handle, functional latches and small "Lifton" badge outside the case pocket.
